API Outsourcing, Inc. Announces the Election OfPhilip G. Semmer to Its Board of Directors

St. Paul, MN, October 2003 – API Outsourcing, Inc. (API) has electedPhilip G. Semmer, Vice President Information Systems and CIO General Mills, toserveon the API Board of Directors. “Philip Semmer is widely recognized asa forward-thinking leader in information management in the finance and accountingarena,” said GaryHalleen, President and CEO of API. “In addition to his outstanding credentialsand impeccable reputation, he will bring a valuable customer's perspective toAPI's Board because he is a buyer of business services.”

He previously had been President, Financial Operations, Technology and Operations. Semmer joined General Mills as a management trainee in December 1975. He spent 17 years in the Finance Organization in a variety of positions within Consumer Foods before joining the Information Systems Organization. Semmer is a member of professional bodies and working groups including the Grocery Manufacturers of America.
