St. Paul, MN – July 2006 – J. Peter Donlon, Executive Vice President, API Outsourcing, recently provided industry insights to the editor-in-chief of Finance & Accounting Outsourcing Today on trends in accounts receivable and accounts payable outsourcing services.  FAO Today stated that as more companies discover the benefits of outsourcing, AR & AP are two of the most immediate functions to be outsourced.

Donlon explained what prospects are looking for in a trading partner. “Whatour clients look for is a best-of-breed provider.  They are looking forpartners who have made multi-million-dollar investments in infrastructure andalso in encryption and other process improvements,” said Donlon.

The article said that one of the drivers for companies considering outsourcing is to gain technology to help with compliance.  Many clients see outsourcing as an added measure of protection in their risk-management approach.  “From an outsourcing perspective, we see clients extend this accountability to the outsourcing partner,” Donlon added.
